My name is Ingrid Romme and since January 2015 I am working as a PhD student at the department of Psychiatry of the University Medical Center Utrecht. During my bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences and my master's in Clinical Human Movement Sciences I developed an enormous interest in neuroscience, especially in brain mapping. Therefore, I am really enthusiastic about doing my PhD here at the Dutch Connectome Lab.
During my project I study the connection between the genome and connectome, thereby trying to contribute to a better understanding of the pathological mechanisms of schizophrenia.
